This is how it works:
The Quick Homing Kit is installed in connection with the boundary wire by use of the included connectors. When installed Robolinho® will, when passing the Quick Homing Kit, leave the boundary wire by turning to the right and navigate towards the base station in the set angle.
Choose the position of the Quick Homing Kit so that Robolinho® has a direct and short way back to the base station. The Quick Homing Kit should ideally be located about halfway down the full length of the boundary wire.
Installation instructions:
- Switch off the power supply to the base station
- Cut the boundary wire where it is straight about 1 m in front and 1 m behind the location of the Quick Homing Kit
- Install the Quick Homing Kit max. 2 cm under the lawn surface and connect it to the boundary wire using the included connectors
- Fix the boundary wire with the supplied ground nails
- Lay a cable loop as a reserve approx. 1 m in front of and behind the Quick Homing Kit
- Plug in the power supply to restart the loop signal
- Place Robolinho® on the boundary wire approx. 1 m in front of the built-in Quick Homing Kit
- Start Robolinho® by selecting "Settings > Quick Homing > Start Calibration" in the menu
- Robolinho® starts the calibration, recognizes the Quick Homing Kit position and checks it repeatedly by driving over it
- Set the desired angle in which Robolinho® is to leave the boundary wire on the display. All 5° steps between 45° and 135° are possible
Troubleshooting:
